R odney Dobson, a Central Coast local, is currently starring in Beauty and the Beast playing at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney. In Beauty and the Beast, Rodney performs alongside Shubshri Kandiah as Belle's genius beloved father Maurice. Rodney has had an incredible musical theatre career to date, most recently understudying the role of Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical. Prior to that, his theatre credits include Chicago, Evita, Les Misérables (10th and 25th Anniversaries), Singin' in the Rain, Wicked, Miss Saigon, Legally Blonde, Annie, The Full Monty and Sweeny Todd, among many more.
