WATER PROOFING

Tanking Membrane Indextene Tanking membrane is a cold applied, high performance, self adhesive, bitumen waterproofing sheet membrane. It is typically used as an internal and external basement or substructure tanking system or ground level DPM particularly where there is a large unobstructed area to be waterproofed. One side is covered in bitumen and one side is covered in a high-density 2-ply, cross-laminated polythene film. The underside is protected by a release sheet, which is removed prior to the bonding of the material. Priming the area to be covered with a bituminous primer before application will improve the adhesion. Chemically resistant, the product provides effective external protection against aggressive soils, dilute acids or alkalis.

A quality grade, highly penetrative bituminous solution for priming surfaces prior to the application of tanking membranes and other bituminous materials. Its heavy duty formula makes it suitable to prime concrete roofs and floors and cementitious screeds/renders. A 5ltr tin covers approximately 30m².

Hydro-Pruf/Liquid Tanking A high performance, brush applied, damp proof coating consisting of a rubber bitumen emulsion which, when applied, provides a waterproof and vapour resistant barrier. The product, which bonds to a range of building materials, has excellent flexibility and crack resistance even at low temperatures. Hydro-pruf can be used as a damp proof membrane and water repellent coating prior to masonry work taking place. It is recommended that a minimum of two coats are applied.
