PRO-TEC RE-ROOFING is specifically used as a refurbishment layer over existing old bituminous waterproofing membranes, and can go over those areas with a mineralised slate finish. Pro-Tec also has excellent production characteristics of adhesion and workability. PRO-TEC RE-ROOFING prefabricated modified composite polymer-bitumen waterproofing membrane are composed of distilled bitumen and differentiated waterproofing masses, specifically designed for use over old bituminous waterproofing membranes and especially those with a mineral slates surface . The upper face compound is composed of distilled bitumen and elasto-plastomeric pol-yolefin’s (APAO) while the lower face compound is composed of distilled bitumen and special polymers which provide particular characteristics of adhesion & workability. A special waterproofing mass is used to bond the upper & lower compounds.
