Be an informed voter on November 6 th

LEAGUE OFWOMEN VOTERS COCKTAIL RECEPTION Tuesday, October 30 th 5:00 p.m. Main Dining Room Cocktails and hors d’ouevres will be served.

November 6 th is Election Day. On the ballot in addition to races for Governor, US Senator, US Representative and local judgeships are proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution. In some cases, two or three proposed amendments have been bundled into a single ballot question. A “yes” vote on any of these ballot questions means you favor all the proposals in that question, and a “no” vote means you reject all the proposals in that question. If you favor one proposal but not another in a particular question, you’ll have to make a difficult choice. You may wish to study the proposed amendments and determine how you will vote in advance of Election Day. The League of Women Voters of Florida has published an explanation of the amendments, which can be found at https://www.lwvfl.org/amendments/ . The Frenchman’s Creek External Affairs Committee invites all members to a presentation by the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County on the November 2018 ballot questions.
