Application To accommodate an occasional requirement for a starter in an enclosure, not stocked complete, it may be convenient and economical to stock enclosure kits for use with open starters; or even for conversion of a starter stocked in a different enclosure. UL listing can be maintained by use of these listed enclosures with listed starters, accessories, and modification kits. Standard instructions, wiring-diagram labels and overload heater selection labels are included in each kit . Each enclosure includes an external reset for the starter overload relay, and provisions or plugged holes for optional addition of appropriate pilot devices. For example, push button(s), selector switch, and/or pilot light can be added, once the proper plug(s) is (are) removed. The external reset can be removed and replaced by use of a suitable hole plug kit.
