GFTU BGCM 2019 Minutes

(Applause) It is great that you do stimulate debate. The left has been divided,

as you say, and something has to happen. We are all down at Portcullis House

tonight seeing quite a few MPs, including Jeremy and John McDonnell so we

will see what we can do. Thanks again.

LARRY ELLIOTT: Thanks for having me. (Applause)

THE PRESIDENT: I think we can draw this morning’s proceedings to a conclusion

now, colleagues. There is an Executive Committee meeting which will be just

down the front here and we will resume at 2 o’clock. Thank you.

The meeting adjourned for lunch

The meeting reassembled at 2 pm

maybe around 3 o’clock, but to start the afternoon session I am going to hand

over to the General Secretary to report on the new President, Vice President

and EC.
