The Meeting re-assembled at 9.00 am

THE PRESIDENT: Good morning, everybody. It is nice to see a few here at least. I

was just trying to work out if we have got at least one person from each

delegation and we are more or less all right. I think there are a few delegations

that are battle worn and might be joining us later on! Just a few housekeeping

things first. First of all, wasn’t it great last night? Thank you all for your

participation in it. I thought it worked really well. The speeches were fantastic.

John McDonell and Jeremy were great, Alice and Edda were fantastic, very

interesting, and the atmosphere was terrific all evening, so I am very pleased

with that and, let us see, we might have another one in the future who knows.

If we had had the conference at Quorn Grange, that would have been very

difficult, so it was quite good to be here, wasn’t it, to be able to do it?

We are going to take a break at about quarter to eleven, in case anybody has

got their cases in their rooms or need to drop their keys off and check out. We

will have 15 minutes to do that. That is all from me. I am going to hand over to

Ian now who has got some more housekeeping stuff for us.

IAN RICHARDS: It is very straightforward, but I do not want people having a shock

when you leave, because there are automatic number plate recognition

cameras on the car park, so if you do not put in the registration or the

passcode, you will end up with a surprise of £60 a day as a fine or if you have

already paid it you will have paid £25 a day. It is free, it is complimentary, it

was part of the negotiations that we had. There are two ways of doing it. On

reception they have got a little tablet, an iPad thing. If you put in your

registration, tell them the number of days that you have been here, so two

days, one day, three days, whatever, that then will wipe out any charge

against your registration number, you can just drive out. If you are on one of

the other spaces and there is a barrier, they have sent the code to Claire, but I

will read it out for you if you have got a piece of paper to hand. You only need

this if you get to the machine downstairs and realise you have not done it. It is
