Techna International is the UK agent for Meccanica Nicoletti equipment. The range includes a selection of winding machines to suit almost every cable winding application, from the smallest manual bench-top models, through motorised and semi-automated units, up to fully automated cable handling systems for large-scale operations. Working on drums, coils, coils to drums, coils to coils, drums to coils and drums to drums, these units are designed to provide consistent and reliable winding and unwinding operations, from the most basic to the most sophisticated requirements.

For large cable facilities a further Nicoletti development is the Automat 300, providing fully automated cable handling including payoff, electronic cable stretching control, drums supplied on pallets, fork-lift or conveyor, guide rollers for correct cable feeding, cable diameter measurement, winding and coiling (only one winder required), keyboard drum positioning and drum marking. The system can be integrated with customer order and service software and hardware for a remote system inspection.
