If Associates lose any personal belongings, they should report the details immediately to their Manager. Any articles found on the premises should be handed to Security. Within the regional offices articles found should be handed to the Secretary.

10.12 Company Property *

Associates are asked to do everything reasonably possible to protect the Company’s property and to ensure that items of value and papers of a confidential nature are locked away at the end of each working day. Company property should not be used for personal use without the consent of the Head of their Division.

Associates are also asked to ensure that all doors and windows are closed when they leave the premises.

If an Associate or the Company terminate an Associate’s employment, all Company property must be returned to their Manager before they leave the employment of the Company. Any Company credit cards must be returned and outstanding balances paid in full. If an Associate fails to return any Company property on request, the Company shall, without prejudice to any remedy, be entitled to withhold any monies due to them from the Company. Please also see section 10.22.

10.13 Refer A Friend Scheme

Associates below SVP level who introduce new recruits to the Company will be eligible to receive a Refer a Friend Award. All payments are discretionary and dependant on circumstances. An award of £1,000 is payable for a new recruit with less than two years relevant experience and rising to £1,500 where the new recruit has more than two years relevant experience. Relevant experience will be decided by the hiring Manager and the Human Resources Division. HR Associates, Senior Vice Presidents, the hiring Manager and Partners are not eligible for this award. Introductions must be submitted in writing to the Human Resources Division to be eligible for payment.

The award is paid, to permanent Associates only, after the new permanent recruit has successfully completed six months service.

The award is paid along with the monthly salary and taxed in the normal manner.

For Northern Ireland, each case will be reviewed on an individual basis.

10.14 Personal Telephone Calls and Mobile phone use

Personal telephone calls outward and inward should be kept to essential calls only. Use of Company telephones for personal use is not an automatic contractual right. Permission is required in advance from Managers for any outward international personal calls or calls of excessive length and/or cost. General use of your personal mobile phone during working hours should be kept to a minimum.

10.15 Give As You Earn Charity Donation Scheme

The Company operates a Charity Donation Scheme via the payroll. Through the GAYE process Associates may donate as little as £1.00 per month or as much as they wish per month to any charity or charities of their choice.
