The Australia Day Achievement Awards are a proud tradition of Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES). Australia Day Achievement Awards allows QFES to recognise the outstanding achievements of our colleagues, who (within the last 12 months) have gone above and beyond normal duties, to provide significant contributions to the delivery of fire and emergency services in Queensland. Australia Day Achievement Awards presentation ceremonies are held across the state in January each year in line with national activities.

QFES Honours and Awards

The Commissioner, QFES will call for nominations each year with a new nomination form provided. Nomination forms are to be endorsed by the applicable Assistant Commissioner or Executive Director and forwarded to the QFES Honours and Awards Committee for review and recommendation to the Commissioner, QFES for consideration and final approval.
