Advanced production method

Wire crimping is an advanced produc- tion method for making dependable crimp connections in electronic and electrical assem- blies.

The company’s range includes useful accessories such as airwipes for extrusion lines (blowers/dryers), and motorised precision cutter to allow clients to obtain samples of extruded cable insulations/ tubes or pipes, to a precise measuring of concentricity, thicknesses and diameters, and solutions for the recycling of the wire stripper, used to separate the conductors of cables and/or wires from their plastic coating, as well as a complete series of pneumatic shears for the cut of unipolar or multipolar cables. The company’s ultra modern manu- facturing site includes the latest generation machinery, allowing Eurotek to maintain its competitive prices.

The CMT131 splicing machine (above) works with a continuous coil of cop- perband material which can be fed, cut, formed and securely crimped around the items to be connected in one step. With high efficiency, reliability and low cost, it is suitable for use in connecting neon lamps, LED, slide switches, reed switches, adaptors and high temperature elements such as glue guns, hair dryer heaters and thermistor sensors at rate up to 2,000 connections per hour. Four different sizes DEM Cold Rolling Cassettes for wire rope compacting are assembled with 3 + 3 rolls, in four different sizes 125, 150, 180 and 240mm in order to compact strands or ropes with a diameter of up to 24mm. The latest DEM design has developed a unit with a very rigid frame and an easy maintenance concept. The unit allows roll replacement without opening the housing. The cassette is complete with shafts, water-cooling circuit and lubricating circuit. Thanks to a DEM-patented solution the roll gap adjustment can be easily performed under load.
