FirstMatesMention WelcomeSummer!! It is great to be back onour island. Welcome all members and a bigwelcome to all newmembers. “2015 Fashion Splash” was a huge success, BIGTHANKYOU to ErinMcGregor for putting this year’s show together. If you have never put together an event of this size you have no idea howmuchwork goes into making it a success. BayViewYacht Club is a beautiful venue and it was filled to capacity. Thank youAnn Malik for expertly guiding ourmodels through the day. Thank youDebbie Lockhart for a great jobon themic, youwere the perfectMC. Thank you BrianMalik for providing themusic for the day. Thank you Keith McGregor, Dave Lockhart and BobCarnaghi for helping set-up, selling raffle and 50/50 tickets. Thank you to all ourmodels, everyone looked fabulous. Thank you to all the vendors, who took time out of their busy schedules to come to our showandmake it a success. Thank you to everyonewhoworked quietly in the back ground; we could not have done it without all of you. Thank you to everyonewhomade a donation, the prizeswere awesome. And of course thank you to all who attended, becausewithout you there is no show. Thank you everyone for sharing your time, treasures and talents. Thank you to all who attended this year’s annual “Welcome Reception” and thank you all who brought a dish to pass. As always the foodwas delicious. Another BIGTHANKYOU to YvonneMurraywho has generously donated the printing of our FirstMates rooster again this year. If you haven’t received your roster, you can pick one up in the Boatique. If you haven’t seen the FirstMates remodel of Sam’s room, take aminute to check it out. MaryMarini our design specialist did a fabulous job redesigning that space into a cozy roomyou are going to enjoy spending the night in. LadiesWeek is June 14 th . Plan to spend some time that weekwithRenee; she has a lot of fun activities planned. FirstMatesmembership is always available to anyone interested in joining a great group of women!!
