• Kim provided the following report from the Recruitment Committee based on the recent survey conducted:

April 23, 2015 Recruitment Committee report Survey resulted in 92 responses. Notable aspects of existing membership:

1) We are older (46% are in the 56-84 range) - Only 8 respondents under 45 2)53% are from a full service marina from 78.3% are closer than 45 minutes away. 3)52% of the members originally visited with family and friends.

From the data, we devised the following plan for recruitment activities in 2015

1)Do a well advertised open house weekend to our members. Encourage them to invite friends, buy one get one night free, we will have an introduction BBQ and music on the deck on a Saturday afternoon. 2)Continue the member initiated flyer to invite friends. Buy one get one night free and 2 free drink coupons/chips. Many of the “other” comments talked about stopping the politics and infighting. It was a large percentage of the comments. We really need to keep this in mind, as I know we all do. 9 respondents mentioned Pool. Please review the answers. It may provide us useful insight into our membership and how they are thinking.

Motion: Moved by Kim Miedema to repeat, as offered last year, the promotional offer on Memorial Day Weekend of "Buy One/Get One Free. Second, P/C Vestal. Motion Carried

Clubhouse - PC Hugh Vestal P/C Vestal stated the Clubhouse carpet will be cleaned on May 18 and 19, and on May 14, the entire facility will be fumigated for spiders/insects. He expressed appreciation to all who have participated on the work parties, and especially V/C Stroh for directing the Kitchen floor repair project.
