Northrock PPE Catalogue 2021

As a global manufacturer of protective wear, Portwest products are rigorously and independently tested to international standards and certified by accredited test houses and notified bodies across the world. Internationally recognised, the CE Marking on a product indicates compliance with the essential requirements for health and safety as outlined in the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Portwest products carry this marking where applicable. End users of protective products should refer to PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for the assessment of health and safety at work. The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking is a new UK product marking that is used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain. It covers most goods that previously required the CE marking, known as ‘new approach’ goods. At the time of print (2021), all Portwest products which carry the CE marking are also being tested & certified under UKCA. In Northern Ireland, products will carry both the CE and UKCA marks. Portwest products are also tested to ISO, ANSI, NFPA and ASTM in the United States, AS/NZS in Australia, New Zealand. Work is in progress to test and certify some key products to ESMA in the UAE and the Russian EAC (TR CU 019/2011) standards. TESTING GLOBAL CERTIFICATION
