ELLEN AND STAN LATTMAN are very excited to an- nounce a new book written by their Daughter-in-law, Isabel Gillies, married to their son, Peter. You may know Isabel from her appearances on Law and Order: SUV as Detective Stabler’s Wife, but this accom- plished actress is also a writer. Gillies has written two memoirs and she made her Young Adult debut (stories for ages 12– 16 years old, but appropriate for all ages older,) earlier this year with Starry Night , a story about first love. “It is a beautiful bittersweet story of love and all its dangers.”

How exciting to have a “Bris”, a covenant of circumcision,” a Jewish religious ceremony performed on the eighth day of a male infant's life, at Frenchman’s Creek. EVELYN and CRAIG BERNHARDT joyfully announced the birth of their newest grandson, Jordan Ryan Bernhardt, born October 24, 2014 weighing in at 7lbs 6oz. His Bris was held at the clubhouse in the living room. Jordan’s proud parents are Alissa & Seth Bernhardt who reside at Woodfield Country Club. Attending were 65 family and friends. No other ones were able to attend as they were up north.

Celebrating some more good news, EVELYN and CRAIG BERNHARDT’S granddaughter, Melanie Bender, successfully defended her gymnastics title for the second year in a row in the New York State Championship Tournament this past spring. Melanie was named the 2014 Level 3 state Champion. Her proud parents are Rachel & Marc Bender who reside in Roslyn Estates on Long Island. Way to go Mel!!!
