Dingo

Why are Dingos the Best?

Simple & Solid Linkage System - Back in the early 90’s Dingo removed the complicated self-levelling system from the design. This reduced the mount plate assembly to 3 joints (from 7) reducing the maintenance required and the wear and slop associated with the self-leveling system. (Self- levelers were designed for large loaders where the operator’s vision of the load was often obstructed by the canopy.) Not a problem on a Dingo.

Hydraulic Power - Dingo is a ‘hydraulic power plant on wheels’ designed to run attachments. The Dingo models have the best hydraulic power in their class, and better than most larger skid steer machines.

Lifts the most weight - With excellent weight distribution the Dingo can lift the most weight, enabling bigger buckets to get the job done faster and safer. The All-Rounder has a working load of 275kg and the Contractor has a working load of a massive 440kg. No other mini loader comes close.

Cleanable Hydraulic Tank - Oil contamination is the greatest enemy of all hydraulic machines. The lid of the Dingo hydraulic tank can be removed to allow thorough cleaning, should contamination occur.

We build our own attachments - This means that the attachment will match the Dingo for weight and hydraulic output unlike the competition that use ‘one size fits all’ attachments. They just work better.

Powder Coating - The best machine needs the best finish. Dingos are sand blasted, primed, powder coated and baked in our own plant for a harder wearing, longer lasting finish.

Stable Lift System- A lift ram on each side gives greater strength & stability. Dingo arms are the width of the machine giving greater strength and stability for your machine and attachments.

Hireablility - That is not a real word, but helps describe the features we build into every Dingo that make Dingo the first choice for the hire industry. These include 2 drive speeds for new operators, no greasable joints, superior machine stability, simple quick hitch and a branch network to back it up.

Superior Joint System – NO GREASE! The Dingo joint system uses Teflon type bushes with chrome coated pins. Greasable joints need greasing every day and tend to make a mess and attract grit to the joint. The Dingo system allows you to work or hire your machine for weeks at a time without having to rely on the operator to grease the joints.

Best Narrow Access Ability - Over the years the Dingo machines have had huge improvements in ability and power, but they have never increased in width. With narrow wheels the Dingo models are the most narrow in the market.

DALBY THE CENTRE AUSTRALIA OF EASTERN

Built in Australia - Dingo’s are developed and built in Australia for Australian conditions. With a Dingo you will get a superior oversized Australian radiator, oversized air cleaners, locally available spares and a host of other features that we have developed over the past 25 years to make Dingos work better in hot, dry Australian conditions.

Operator Comfort - Dingos have the widest andmost comfortable operators platform on the market. We also don’t have fuel tanks or sidebars to bash into your legs. Unlike other machines the hot radiator and hydraulic tank are well away from the operator.

Proper Handle Bars - If you are going to stand on a machine and do some serious work you will need something to hang on to. Some foreign mini loaders have joysticks controls but little to hang on to. Imagine riding a motorbike with joysticks and no handlebars!!! It doesn’t make sense.

Heavy Duty Plastic Fuel Tanks - These tanks are big enough for a full days work, tuff, resistant to condensation and easily removed and cleaned out if contamination does occur. It’s just smart.

The Multi Pump Hydraulic System

The Dingo Multi Pump System

A Dingo is not really a mini loader but a ‘Hydraulic Power Plant on Wheels’ for powering attachments. THIS IS WHY HE QUALITY OF THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM SHOULD BE YOUR NO. 1 CONSIDERATION WHEN BUYING A MINI LOADER DIGGER. By maintaining separate circuits for the Dingo and its attachment a Dingo is able to • Power both the Dingo and the attachment at the same time without one robbing power from the other. • Keep the hydraulic oil cooler by only sending the oil to where it needs to go. This controls your ground speed, maximises digging power and keeps the oil cooler by minimising the components it has to travel through. • Gives the Dingo up to three drive speeds by the ability to switch the pumps between circuits. • Infinitely control the division of power between the two circuits to control ground speed (when trenching) and maximise flow to the attachment. • The best hydraulic flows and pressures in the industry No other mini digger/loader does all this as well as Dingo and most larger Bobcat style machines don’t do this at all.

Drive Mode

Attachment Mode

Trenching Mode

With the pump selector in Drive Mode the wheels get the larger flow from the big pump and the attachment gets the lesser flow from the small pump. Great for bucket work!

With the pump selector in Attachment Mode the attachment gets the larger flow from the big pump and the wheels get the lesser flow from small pump.

When trenching or rotary hoeing the Flow Divider is used to divert oil from the wheel circuit to the attachment. This enables precise control of ground speeds & max. power to trencher.

3. Dingo recognises that the most efficient trenching machines use better quality chain with more teeth. This number of cutting teeth, combined with the correct chain speed, allows for the best and most efficient cut possible. Dingo applies this knowledge to give you the best trenching machine available. Other manufacturers save money by utilising fewer teeth and then try to compensate with speed. In doing so they only do injustice to the result required, with teeth doing more bouncing than cutting and the increased speed reducing torque making the trencher more inclined to stall. Standard chain, cup tooth:-

Dingo’s are incredible trenching machines. They will outperform all pedestrian trenchers and many larger machines including Bobcats. The clever Dingo hydraulic system, powerful pulling chain with more teeth, and slower chain speed easily cuts through roots, rocks and other obstacles. What makes a Dingo such a good trenching machine? 1. Dingo’s advanced multi pump hydraulic system allows for 95% of the Dingo’s oil to be passed directly to the trencher, with the flow divider (trenching valve) controlling the remaining 5% to the wheels optimising trenching power and wheel speed. This configuration ensures excessive oil temperature is avoided which in turn maintains the viscosity of the oil and its ability to transfer power to the trencher. 2. Trenchers aren’t Trenchers. We build our own trenching attachment with a unique drive sprocket, boom and nose roller combination. Unlike trenching attachments that are ‘one size fits all’ for a range of machine brands, our trencher is designed to compliment the Dingo perfectly. This means that it trenches faster, maintains consistent depth and is less likely to stall.

option (Pictured bottom left) will save you a lot of time by dragging along the bottom of the trench ensuring that the bottom of the trench is clean. Without this tool overburden tends to fall back into the hole. The trench cleaner will ensure that you don’t need to dig at 700mm depth to get a 600mm hole. Also available is the extra half-flite auger extension. Add this to the standard auger to shift the spoil further from the hole where it doesn’t fall back in. This is especially useful when digging 200mm and 300mm wide trenches. Both the trench cleaner and half-flite extension options are a must it you are serious about efficiency.

Not available from Dingo, but standard on many other machines. With fewer teeth, cutting is less efficient. Dingo frost chain with a tooth on each link

SPECIFICATIONS

As with all Dingo attachments the trencher is protected by the Dingo’s hydraulic relief valve. With direct or mechanical drive trenchers breakdowns are common and expensive. By nature, a trench has obstacles like rocks, pipes and roots. These obstacles can jam mechanical drive trenchers. Hydraulic

astounding. It can dig holes up to a massive 750mm (30 inches) diameter to a depth of up to 3m with our unique Pinocchio extension. But what enables this small machine to handle such large augers? Once again it is the hydraulics. The Dingo has comparably high hydraulic relief pressures, higher in fact than many larger machines. This pressure combined with a powerful 8:1 reduction planetary gear drive, converts directly to power to give incredible drive torque to the augers. With the correct digging teeth fitted (earth or rock), the Dingo can be used to dig through concrete, sand stone, reinforced road base and bitumen. Trouble with root or rocks? The Dingo’s ability to be repositioned and the ability to reverse the auger is a great advantage here. For roots simply back off and then feather down again to cut the root. For those holes with loose rocks (always the hardest), the Dingo can be repositioned with a little rocking and slewing. Using this method you can often get the teeth under the rocks to bring them up between the flighting.

the machine when post hole digging. This allows all 4 wheels to lift off the ground, dramatically increasing the down-force on the auger tip. A Dingo fitted with the post mate can match the biggest Bobcats when it comes to down-force on the auger. Pinocchio Extension – This extension unique to Dingo allows you do dig up to a depth of 3m.

ROTARY HOE OVERVIEW

3 IN 1 GRAB OVERVIEW

STUMP GRINDER OVERVIEW

The rotary hoe is one of our most powerful tools. The Dingo Rotary Hoe has a full one metre cut and digs to 150mm deep. Like the trencher, the ground speed is controlled with the flow divider so the hoe can be worked at a speed relative to the toughness of the ground being hoed. This allows fine hoeing, regardless of the ground condition. Hoeing is done in the reverse direction so you can clearly see where you are going and you aren’t running over freshly tilled soil. Another common use for the rotary hoe is for loosening areas where dirt has to be removed. Great if you need to remove 150mm of material in preparation for a concrete slab, paving, playground surface etc. The Rotary Hoe breaks down the ground so the bucket can remove it leaving a clean flat bed for the new surface to be laid. SPECIFICATIONS Width of Cut: 1000mm Max Cutting Depth: 150mm Tines: Hardened, double edge Speed: Variable Approx Weight: 170kg Hydraulic Flow: 40-47 l/min Used For: Digging garden beds, loosening ground for removal Used By: Landscapers, Contractors, Hire Companies Goes With: Bucket

The Dingo 3 in1 Grab is a great site cleanup tool. It will grab logs in the jaw or an armful of branches, hay and other awkward or heavy materials. The Dingo 3 in 1 Grab is ideal for raking rocks or sticks from a jobsite. The grated floor allows the sand and dirt to fall through leaving the rubble in the grab. BREAKER OVERVIEW

LEVELLER OVERVIEW

CEMENT MIXER OVERVIEW

The Dingo Leveller (Smudge bar) is often referred to as a carryall and does exactly what its name implies. The leveler is great for spreading dirt and carry items like turf. The ripper tines can be fixed to the outside of the leveler to enable you to rip up against a fence or wall.

The Dingo Breaker is one of the greatest labour savers when compared with using hand held breakers. Vibration and fatigue are greatly reduced making this a much more productive and safe option for the operator. The Dingo Breaker is ideal for: • Breaking driveways and footpaths • Breaking rocks in trenches and post holes • Chiseling tiles • Demolishing brick walls The Dingo being a ‘hydraulic power pack on wheels’ can also power a range of other hydraulic demolition tools including concrete saws, crunchers, splitters and wire saws. Once the material has been broken up you can then use the Dingo and bucket to clear

This is an awesome labour saver and makes a lot of sense for landscapers, fencing contractors and builders. The Dingo Cement mixer fits onto the Dingo Post Hole Digger and is locked into place by a pin mounted in the Post Hole Digger frame. The mixer has internal fighting (just like a concrete truck) that allows you to reverse the bowl and pour the mixture accurately into a post hole without making a mess. Traction At Dingo we understand that there is no one traction option that will work in all situations. Just like 4x4’s and motor bikes, it is important that you have the right tyres for the job. When Dingos first emerged, the only tyres avail- able were for lawn mowers, golf carts, etc. They were not suitable for the work that a Dingo would do. Some people today still use these tyres and then wonder why they do not last. We have developed a range of proven traction options that will make your Dingo perform in all situations.

Semi Pneumatic Puncture Proof - These are a great solution for working in conditions where punctures are a problem. Being semi pneumatic they ride better than full solids. These tyres are also non-marking.

Dingo Skid Steer Tread - This is a Bobcat style tread that was developed by Dingo for Dingos. This tyre features 8 ply for durability, an aggressive tred pattern with self-cleaning features, rim guard, solid sidewalls for skid performance and great wear characteristics. Available for 8” & 10” rims.

Standard Dingo Tyre - This is a general purpose tyre was developed by Dingo for Dingos. It features 6 ply, good solid sidewalls to help with skidding performance, a medium tred with good grip characteristics whilst still being easy on the turf.

Turf Tyre - The turf tyres are 4 ply and allow you to travel across turf with minimal damage.

Fork Tyres Solid - These are 175mm (7”) solid fork tyres great for work on hard surfaces. Solid wheels help the Dingo skid on hard surfaces but don’t perform well in soft conditions. These come in regular black and white non- marking.

Lug Tyre - These tyres give you that extra traction for wet and slippery conditions. Great for trenching.

Narrow Solid Fork - These solid wheels measure 125mm (5”) wide and will allow you to take your Dingo to places other machines can’t go. There are available in regular black and white non marking rubber.

Fork Tyre - PneumaticThese are 125mm (5”) wide and are great for narrow access work. They have solid sidewalls that can handle the weight of the Dingo.

Over Tyre Tracks are a versatile track option allowing you to power through mud, slush and sand whilst still maintaining the ability to take them off an fit wheels when the tracks aren’t required or when narrow wheels are needed. Unlike dedicated tracks, these do not have rollers and bearings meaning less maintenance and a smoother ride. These tracks will not cause the Dingo see saw when going over obstacles or loading onto your trailer as dedicated tracks will, making them a safer track option.

Sand Tyres are a larger size (20x8”) that work well in dry sandy conditions. Very popular in Western Australia.
