Washington County 4-H encourages youth ages 5-19 to develop leadership, responsibility, decision making and communication skills to the fullest potential. Young people participate in 4-H through clubs, special interest groups, school programs, camps and many other activities. “Learning by doing” through hands-on activities and community involvement empowers 4- H’er’s to develop and strengthen these valuable life skills. MOMS R US; a teenage pregnancy program is offered. Labor and childbirth classes are offered along with parenting classes. A fitness club for women is also offered.
