Soldiers cannot afford to let any prey escape their grasp. The elite Special Forces are taught how to catch animals with a minimum of effort. They learn that it is far better to work with nature than against it. This means setting traps where animals will walk into them, and obeying the following rules: • Make sure the traps are working properly. • Check them regularly. • Do not walk on animal trails. • Always lay traps on trails that the animals use regularly. • Place a snare so that, when an animal is caught, it will be lifted off the ground.
