HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters in basketball, while playing for Marvin Wil-

liams at Perris High School...was nominated for aMcDonald's All-American as a senior...averaged 15 points and 10 assists as a senior en route to an AII-CIF distinction...was named first-team All-Sunbelt league as both a junior and senior...as a junior averaged 19 points and eight assists per game, while being named first-team AII-CIF...as a sophomore averaged 12 points and five assists per game...also ran track and field and was named her team's MVP for both sprints and jumps. PERSONAL: Brianna Estell was born on May 5, 1989 in Riverside, Calif.... is the daughter of Frank and Sheila Estell...was heavily recruited by Montana State, Fresno State, Utah State and Colgate College...chose to attend USO because of the location, environment and because of the basketball team ...her brother, Frank, played basketball at nearby Point Loma Nazarene.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters playing for Todd Jukkala at Tualatin High School...was named the Oregonian's Class 6A girls State Player of the Year as a senior...was named the Pacific Conference Player of the Year as a senior...broke eight school records during her senior season...was named first-team All-State/Tournament as senior in help– ing lead her team not only to a league championship but also into the quarterfinals of the state playoffs...averaged 19.5 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game, 3.6 steals per game and 2.4 assists per game as a senior... during her senior season, she set the single-season records for points (526), field goals made (212) and steals (96)...finished her career as the second leading scorer in school history with 1,139 points...was named first-team All-Tournament and third-team All-State as a junior in helping lead her team to a 29-1 overall record and a league champion– ship...as a sophomore she was named second-team All-League... was also a stand-out on the track team, placing herself in the varsity top-10 list in both the 100m and 300m hurdles with times of 16.7 seconds in the 100m and 49.42 seconds in the 300m hurdles...was also named second-team All-League on the Tualatin volleyball team. PERSONAL:Samantha Allyene Child was born on October 24, 1988...she is the daughter of Sally Pitts and Jay Child...was heavily recru ited by Oregon, Oregon State, Boise State, Alabama and Loyola Marymount...chose to attend USO because of the outstanding women's basketbal l program... has yet to decide on a major, but is leaning towards pre-med.
