USD Women's Basketball 2007-2008

Carolyn Greer, Associate Director of Athletics/Sports Medicine Carolyn Greer enters her 30th year as the Head Athletic Trainer for the University of San Diego depart– ment of athletics. Three years ago she was promoted to the position of Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine. She is assisted by Paul SignorelJj, Wil Filamor and Joe Parry. In 2007 she received the San Diego State Unjversity Distinguished Alumnus award for the Department of Exerci se and N utritional Sciences and also the Most D istinguished Athletic Trainer Award for the National Athletic Trainers' Association. Three years ago Carolyn was named the 2005 Thomas F. Burke Employee-of-the-Year for the Student Affairs Division. O\'er the years she has taught Sports Medici ne classes at San Diego State University, as well as presented at professional meetings. She oversees seventeen intercollegiate teams and 400 USD stuclent– athletes. The Sports 1'vlecljcine staff prm·icles injury prevention, immediate care, and rehabiLi tation for USD's intercollegiate athletes, as well as covering the intercollegiate events. As an Adjunct Professor for San Diego State Uni,·ersity, she participates in the cLinical

education o f athletic training students. /\ 1975 graduate of San Diego State University, Carolyn was certified as an Athletic Trainer and went on to earn her Master's Degree in 'oports 1\ leclicine. Carolyn, and her husband Jeff, reside in the Pacific Beach area o f San Diego with their two boys, David (senior at USO) and Jason (sophomore at USD).

Andy Fee, Associate Dir. of Athletics/Facilities &Operations Andy Fee is in his fifth year at USD , and hi s first in the position of Associate Director of Ath letics/ FaciLi ties and Operations. Fee will oversee all the scheduling, field maintenance and purchasing for the department's athletic venues. He also is the sport superviser for women's soccer, men's & women's cross country, ,,·omen's track and men's golf. l'ee came to USD from ,\ rizona State University where he was Assistant Director o f Faci Li ty O peration s for Athletics for two seasons. Before that he was Facility Supervisor fo r the ASU Student Recreation Complex. Besides hjs work at ASU, he developed Athletics and Management skiLl s with the N FL Carcljnals, Fiesta Bowl and PGA Phoenix Open. From Scottsdale, Arizona, he ea rned his B.f\ . in Poljtical Science wi th a minor in History from Arizona State University, and his M.A. in Education from the University o f Phoenix. Andy and hi s wife, N icole, reside in North Ted Gosen, Associate Director of Athletics/Media Relations Ted Gosen, Associate D irector of Athletics for Media Relations, is in hi s 27th year. He oversees all pubLic relations activities, publications, athletic website and information services for the athletic department, in addjtion to hosti ng the media at USO events. He is assisted by Chris Loucks and Rya n McCann. In 1981 Teel recei,·ed hi s Master o f Science degree in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in L Miami, Florida. i\ 1979 graduate of San Jose State Uni\'ersiry, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Admin– istration. In addition to his SID duties, Ted is a member of the College Sports In formation Directors of America (CoSIDA); a member of USD's Athletic Hall of Fame Commi ttee; and teaches a bowLing class through the USD recreation department. Ted received his 25-year award from CoSIDA this past July at the CoSIDi\ convention held in San Diego. Ted and his wife Terri, a 1983 USO graduate, reside in Poway with their four daughters: Katie (a junior at USO), Colleen, Claire and E rin. rl!JIIBJIIIIM
