Chris Loucks Asst. Dir. of Media Relations Chris Loucks is in his third year as Asst. Di.r. of Media Relations. His duties include coordinating radio and TV, produc– ing media guides, press releases, brochures and game programs for numerous Torero sports. Loucks also updates and maintains the athletic website for the sports that he covers. Prior to USD, Loucks was a grad– uate assistant at Gonzaga University where he served as the primary media contact

Chris Morales Assistant Director for Marketing Chris Morales enters his third year with the USD athletics department. H e oversees all promotional activities for USD Athletics, client services for corporate sponsorship, group activities and on/offcampus organizational involve– ment at athletic events. Prior to USD, Chris worked at Louisiana State U niversity as Graduate Marketing Assistant overseeing women's soccer, men's basketball, baseball, and

corporate spo nsor fulfillment. Before LSU, Chris spent time with the Virginia T ech Athletic Development serving briefly as interim director of marketing and helped coordinate NCAA events with women's basketbaU, golf, and soccer. Chris is a 2004 graduate of Virginia Tech where he earned his B.A. in Marketing Management. He is from Ashburn, Virginia.

He also served as a Media Relations Assistant at UC Riverside from 2002-2004 serving as the Highlanders' primary media contact for men's soccer and softball. Loucks also worked in the Sports T nformation offices at Cal State Fullerton and Saddleback College. In 2002, Loucks received his B.A. in Communications with an em– phasis in public relations from Cal State Fullerton. He is currently working on his master's in sport and athletic administration from Gonzaga.

Kari Logan Asst. Dir. for Athletic Development Kari Logan enters her third year in the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Development. She oversees the annual athletic giving campaign and organizes all the athletic fundraising events and booster clubs for the department. Prior to joining the USD staff, Kari worked at San Diego based Elite Racing, Inc. where she was the Event Director for several running events including the Carlsbad 5000,

Matthew Parr Athletic Facilities & Operations MatthewParr en ters his first year with the USD athletics department as the Assistant Director for Facilities and O p eratio ns. H e assistsAndy Fee in overseeing all the scheduling, field maintenance and purchasing for the department's athletic venues. Prior to USD , Parr was a work

study student under Andy Fee and Jo hn Marcin for four years and was also a member of the USD cross counrry team and served on the USD Student– A thlete Advisory Council. Matthew is a 2007 graduate of USD where he earned his B.A. in History and Political Science. Parr resides in E l Ca jon, Calif.

Junior Carlsbad, Arturo Barrios Invitational and the Phoenix Children's Hospital Kids Rock. Kari also served as the Entertainment Coordinator for the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon. Before Elite Racing, Kari was at UC Santa Barbara, where she was the Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions for the Gaucho Athletic department. From Thousand Oaks, CA. she earned her B.A in Communication Studies with a minor in Management in 1996 from New Mexico State University, where she was a four year starter for the Aggie volleyball team.

RyanMcCann Media Relations Coordinator

Maggie Sinclair Mgr. of Athletic Equipment Services Maggie Sinclair started at USD in May of 2006 when she was hired as the Manager of Athletic Equipment Services. Her respo nsi– bilities include the purchasing, m ain– tenance, fitting, organization, and dis– tribution of equipment inventory for USD Athletics. Prior to USO, Maggie worked at San Diego State as the Assistant Manager of E quipment

Ryan McCann is in his third year as the media relations coordinator. His du– ties include radio and TV liaison, producing media guides, press releases, brochures and game programs for numerous Torero sports. McCann also updates and maintains the ath– letic website for the spans that he is respon– sible for. Prior to USD, McCann spent one year in South Korea teaching English to el– ementary and middle school students and was a SID student assistant at Linfield College. In 2004, McCann received his B.A. in Mass Communications from Linfield College.

Services from 2004-2006. She helped supervise a sta ff of over a dozen full-time and student equipment managers in the daily operation of an E quipment Services D epartment that serviced eighteen varsity sports. Maggie has a bachelor's degree from the U niversity of Notre Dame and a master's degree in Sports Management from the U niversity of Connecticut. She is a certified member of the A thletic E quipment Manager's Association .
