Construction (A) Resistance wire: Chromalox SCW cable offers a large number of available resistances enable the design of a large range of lengths and wattages to fulfill the different request according to the customer’s heat tracing design. (B) Fluoropolymer Insulation: PFA or FEP is available for the insulation jacket of SCW cables. (C) Tinned Copper Braid: Provides additional mechanical protection in any environment and a positive ground path. (D) Fluoropolymer Over-jacket: PFA or FEP is available for the Over jacket of SCW cables. Corrosion resistant, flame retardant over jacket, is highly effective in many environments. Fluoropolymer coatings are used for exposure to organic or corrosive solutions. These coatings also protect against abrasion and impact damage. Composition (A) Fil résistif: Un grand nombre de résistances sont disponibles sur le câble SCW (B) Isolation en fluor polymère: PFA ou FEP disponible pour le revêtement isolant des câbles SCW. (C) Tresse en cuivre étamé : Offre une protection mécanique supplémentaire. (D) Revêtement en fluor polymère: PFA ou FEP disponible. La résistance à la corrosion est accrue. Ces revêtements protègent également contre les dommages causés par l’abrasion et les chocs.
