Deutsches Hygiene Museum The German Hygiene Museum is a surprisingly interesting museum with exhibits dealing with the biological, cultural and social issues of the human body. Be warned that some of the exhibits are not for those with more sensitive or puritan sensibilities. Most of the exhibits in this museum are more suitable for older children. These are remains of Dresden's old underground fortress. There are audio tours available in German, English and Japanese. This large park is situated in the middle of the town. It is a great place for younger kids to learn to rollerblade and ride bikes. There is a castle, two ponds, a botanical garden, and a couple of small

This place is a technical science museum with light and photography exhibits, which are quite nice for the younger kids. One floor has a room full of hands on exhibits. Children of all ages can spend an hour or two in this room alone. It also has an interesting exhibit on firefighting equipment.
