3. Problem Solution

3.1 Application of the proposed model to selected warehouse events in defined warehouse conditions The proposed model is applied to selected warehouse events in defined warehouse conditions. Cases of storing two different bundles in different storage conditions are presented. For the needs of demonstrating the method of application of the proposed model, the solved problem is simplified. The application of the proposed decision model is implemented in SWSuperDecisons. This SW is used for the construction and synthesis of the AHP model of the decision problem. The selected warehouse events presented below are based on the situation in the expedition warehouse of a medium-section mill in a selected metallurgical company. The examples include a simplified warehouse model, which is complex enough to demonstrate all the functionalities of the proposed system. The examples represent one-time decisions in a static deterministic model. Figure 3 schematically shows a simplified model of defined storage conditions. Characteristics of the model of defined storage conditions: • A, C – storage places for round bundles, B, D – storage places for square bundles, • storage places have allocated times for the arrival of the crane from the place of origin of the bundle in seconds,
