Country music superstar and ]ustin Boot Company endorsee George Strait has joined in the effort to lend a hand to help injured pro- fessional rodeo athletes. A portion ofthe proceeds from the sale of the limited-edition George Strait Tour Boots will be donated to the |ustin Cowboy Crisis Fund on behalf of George Strait and the Justin Boot Company. The amount to be donated is $5,530. The Tour Boots were available for purchase only to those who attended one ofthe concerts on the l8-ciry 1999 Counuy Music Festival hosted by Strait. Two different styles were offered - a black Calfino Roper and a black Ostrich Roper - and both had the George Strait Country Music Festival logo embroidered on the upper portion ofeach boot and came with a certificate signed by George Strait and John Justin. The Ostrich Roper is the preferred style for Strait. "For me, rodeo ranks right up there with the NFL. I love it, and it's a big part of my life and my fami- ly'sr" Strait says.
