A Single Acting Cylinder is used to locate and clamp the workpiece in a channel fixture. The cylinder rod automatically returns when the booster pressure is released.

POWER CLAMPING

Vise Fixture A Double Acting Cylinder is being used to operate a Vee Jaw in the above fixture. Hydraulic pressure is used to clamp and unclamp the jaw. Air pressure, used to return the Double Acting Cylinder, is connected to the air return line of the Booster. Jergens Double Acting Cylinders will operate with as little as 10 psi of air pressure or up to 3000 psi of hydraulic pressure.
