● I can analyze data and identify patterns in the occurrences of natural hazards to predict future catastrophic events based on detectable preceded phenomena. ● I can obtain information on how data can be used to develop new technologies to limit the effects of the catastrophic events.

● Students will review the map resources. Students will be assigned a state to represent and will do a natural disaster assessment for the state using the FEMA National Risk Index map and create an emergency preparedness video,
