The time of year is here to be thankful for those in our lives who make a difference; the family we love, the friends we hold dear. I am so thankful for the support I have received from the community and reviews from clients like these...
“I had the pleasure of working with Sandra, and I cannot
recommend her enough. Her attention to detail was truly exceptional. From the start, Sandra demonstrated a level of diligence and care that went far beyond my expectations. She worked tirelessly to ensure every aspect of the process was handled with precision and thoughtfulness. Her generosity and willingness to go above and beyond made a significant difference in my experience. In a small community where personalized service is key, Sandra shines as a standout professional. If you’re looking for a realtor who combines expertise with genuine care, she’s the one to choose.”
“Sam made my house buying process and an absolute breeze. We walked into the house at 1 pm and my offer was put in by 3. The next day before 5 the offer was accepted because of Sam’s quick work. She helped me with everything through the whole buying process which was a lot and made it very easy. I am so thankful Sam was my realtor!”

Notes From The Council
Happy Fall! The island has slipped back into its fall routines with kids back at school, wood that needs stacking, and waning daylight. The Council has also returned to its autumn patterns with the return of Wednesday Soup and the Bagettes taking over at Chedemption. The Chebeague Island Council mourns the passing of Ron McKinnon and shares in his family’s grief. And as we are reminded of the circle of life, we welcome
the island’s newest resident, River McCool Walker, daughter of Rachel Matusko and Pete Walker. Norah Alper is our nurse at the Wellness Center. In November, Norah will be at the Wellness Center on Tuesday, November 12 and 26 for wellness checks and blood draws. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. Enjoy the colors of the season and stay warm.

553 South Road Update Have you driven by the location of the new two family year round rental home? The trees have been cleared and the sitework for the new duplex has begun. We have also been working with Dirigo Homes on making the final decisions for the design aspects of the modular units. Fundraising Update Our next big step is to increase our fundraising efforts to help offset the overall costs of building 553 South Road. As we begin to round up 2024, please consider donating to the Chebeague Island Community Association to help support us in our mission to ensure the survival and long-term viability of Chebeague Island as a year-round community.
Thank You Chebeague Islanders
We appreciate those of you who delayed the mowing of their fields, their Milkweed, the Goldenrod, the Purple Asters, our habitat, until we headed for Mexico. We hope you enjoyed watching us share in the beauty of your native flowers. This year the last of our group will be gone by the end of October. The Fourth Generation of Monarchs
