Further to our meeting last year, I have pleasure enclosing an application from Voice, the union for education professionals, to become an affiliate member of the General Federation of Trade Unions. I trust that all the necessary information is enclosed, however, should further information be required please do not hesitate to contact me. I understand that the next meeting of the GFTU executive is scheduled for March 2018 and would appreciate it if you are able to confirm whether consideration of this application will take place at the forthcoming meeting and or whether it is protocol to make a presentation to the executive committee as part of the application process or be present to answer any questions that arise.
