DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT The WS pipeline will transport gas produced in the Caspian area from Georgia to the EU. It will branch off an existing pipeline from Azerbaijan to Georgia and will include an onshore pipeline to the Black Sea Georgian coast where a major compressor station will provide the high pressue required to transmit gas to Romania, across the Black Sea.
