The Australian Dangerous Goods Code defines Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods as:

Class 9 substances and articles (miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles) are substances and articles which, during transport present a danger not covered by other classes.

The Australian Standard that outlines the storage and handling requirements for miscellaneous dangerous goods is:

• AS/NZS 4681:2000 - The storage and handling of class 9 miscellaneous dangerous goods and articles.
