Ingredients 1 cup of rolled oats 1 cup of plain flour 1 cup of sugar ¾ cup of coconut 125 gms butter 1 tbp golden syrup 1 tsp bicarb of soda 2 tbp warm water

Method Combine oats, flour, sugar and coconut in a bowl. Melt butter in a heat proof jug in microwave and add golden syrup. Combine bicarb and water, add this to the butter mixture then stir into dry ingredients. Place a spoon full of mixture onto a lined tray, press down with fingers lightly. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 mins at 140 degrees. Allow to cool, then enjoy.
