Damper

Ingredients: 3 Cups of sr flour Pinch of salt 80g butter, chilled and cubed ¾ cup water

Method: Preheat oven to 200c Put baking paper on tray Mix flour and salt in a bowl then rub butter into mixture until it looks like breadcrumbs. Add water and uses your hands to combine ingredients until the mixture just comes together. Add a bit more water if mixture is dry. Put dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently with our hands for a 1-2 minutes until smooth. Shape into a flat ball and place on try. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until damper sounds hollow when tapped.

Slice and serve warm with butter
