Sales Corner Featuring Tim Searle My Name is Tim Searle. I was born in the country town of Warwick, Queensland, AU and grew up there. After high school, I attended a TAFE (Technical and Furthered Education) College. Since then, I have been involved in various Business Development, Sales & Marketing environments within the timber & new construction industry. In 2003, I visited Canada for the first time and instantly fell in love with the country… green grass, lakes, no poisonous snakes or spiders and most of all, met my future wife. During this first visit and seeing the amount of deer close to the highways, I couldn’t understand why deer guards weren’t more popular. The amount of deer I saw in Canada reminded me of the Kangaroos back in Aussie and we all had a Roo bar. It didn’t matter if it was a semi-truck, Ute (pick-up truck) or passenger car, if you were in Roo country, you put a Roo bar on! Plain old common sense. h introductory challenges in the Canadian market, but now the market is seeing and experiencing the value we bring to them, a better product creating better value for money. The Ex-Guard company is truly an amazing, innovative, customer-focused company providing valuable benefits to the end user where it counts the most. This unique quality has resulted in many significant fleets now specifying Ex- Guard as their No. 1 choice of front end protection. I feel very privileged to be part of this brand’s expansion

into the Canadian market and this experience has allowed me to meet many wonderful people in both the dealership and fleet markets. It is very exciting to see and hear the relief and cost-benefits our guards are bringing many fleet owners. It’s extremely satisfying and rewarding to have fleet owners come up to you at the recent Truck World Show in Toronto saying, “ ‘We really like your product, it is the only guard we use now’, ‘I now put your guards on all our trucks’, ‘You have an excellent product & have saved us a lot of money.’ ” I look forward to continuing to develop and expand our brand in the growing Canadian market, working together with our growing dealer network, and providing many more happy customers.
