Target volumes concept

2 CTVs are defined:

1 st target: related to the extent of GTV at time of BT - Macroscopic tumour load

High dose > 80 Gy

- Residual disease  High risk CTV

2 nd target: related to the extent of GTV at diagnosis with an intermediate dose prescribed to this target (60 Gy)  Intermediate risk CTV

Intermediate dose 60 Gy
