Well I hope everyone is keeping warm and has had their flu shots so we can all get through this winter without too much sickness.
Just a friendly reminder to pet owners; please keep your dogs and cats on a lead throughout the Village. The off-leash area is located at the Croquet courts and all dogs are welcome to utilise the area to get some much needed exercise.
Staff are busy keeping the Village running at its best and I’m sure you appreciate their work as much as I do – thanks team!
Beside is a photo of our Evacuation Marshalls who have ever so kindly agreed to donate their time to help all Residents in case of any evacuations. From left to right is Anne, Ted, Liz, Les, Charlie & Cathy, please familiarise yourself with their faces as these are the people who will be assisting you when the time comes to evacuate.
By now you should all have received your Evacuation Checklist to be placed on your fridge, in case of an evacuation please refer to the checklist to make sure you take care of the important things.
The Community Hall renovation is progressing well, the outside is almost done, with the roof to go on hopefully next week.
Are there any residents who enjoy Scrapbooking? Please make yourself known as I have a lot of Scrapbooking items I would like to see go to good use – maybe someone would like to start up a Scrapbooking group?
Until next month, Jodie
