Jettys July 2018
FROM THE MANAGERS DESK
Finally the wind has stopped, and we are enjoying some fresh but nicer weather. Recently we have had some services damaged on vacant sites due to vehicles being parked on them. You have all been allocated a parking space on your site and additional parking is available in the visitor’s car parking areas. Please do not park any vehicle on any area that is not a designated parking space. Any future damage to services will have to be passed on to Residents whose vehicles are spotted parking on these areas. Social Club raised some much needed funds at their Charity Auction and $750 was donated to KidzWish, I also believe KidzWish will be the recipients for this years Christmas Giving Tree, so keep an eye out for that in the coming months. Well done to the Social Club for making a difference to sick and underprivileged kids. I have also heard through the grapevine that the Diner Dance was a tremendous success and all attendees had a brilliant time, hopefully I will get to attend one of these functions one day. It’s that time of year again when you need to check your smoke alarms and change the batteries on the ones that are still in date. Remember, most smoke alarms are only functionable for 3-5 years. Check when your one expires now! I am currently looking into the cost of installing an enclosed off-leash area for the Village dogs to enjoy and have a run with other dogs. I will keep you all updated. I am also still looking into bookcases/storage for the Community Centre and hope to be able to order them soon, just waiting for all groups to advise what storage is needed so we can get matching units to suit the new look but also be suitable for use by groups. I am available to everyone Tuesday & Friday’s but also on other days by appoint- ment. If you would like to make a suggestion, comment or request, please call the office on 4295 1773 and arrange a suitable time. Jodie
