Partners are aware that “Irish eyes” will view the project and report back to the Organisation in Athenry Funding This is a ‘grassroots’ Organisation. Ordinary people with good heart and good intention work with honesty and integrity. There are no middle-men, and every cent raised goes to the project, directly via the Divine Word Missionaries to achieve our development goals. Volunteers from Athenry fund their own trips out to oversee and support the implementation of the projects. Think of the cuckoo that can navigate the 9,000 kilometers from Africa to Ireland every April and back again at the end of the Summer. Aren’t they great!!!
