AGM TECHNOLOGY EFB TECHNOLOGY Lion batteries are exclusively available through Euro Car Parts but they’re not exclusively automotive batteries. Enhanced Flooded (EFB) batteries are an enhanced version of heavy duty wet-flooded technology, providing improved charge acceptance and greater cyclic durability when operating in a reduced state of charge (typical of Stop-Start applications). Like AGM, EFB batteries power the electrics when the engine is in “sleep mode”.

Absorbent glass mat (AGM) batteries are engineered to cope with the excess heat created by regenerative braking and the continuous on/off action of a Stop-Start system.
