Justice John Paul Stevens Award Justice John Paul Stevens’ legacy of outstanding service to our city, state and nation puts him in the pantheon of America’s judicial greats. Each year, the Association honors lawyers and judges whose legal careers best exemplify Justice Stevens’ integrity and commitment to public service. Justice Stevens served as Second Vice President of the CBA until his nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals by President Gerald Ford. Justice Stevens was appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1975 and retired from the High Court in 2010.

T he Association’s 144th Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 22, in the Grand Ballroom at the Standard Club. A reception for outgoing president Daniel M. Kotin and for incoming president Judge Thomas R. Mulroy will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the business meeting and luncheon. The Association’s incoming officers and board members will also be installed at the meeting. Tickets for the annual meet- ing are $70 per person or $700 for a table of ten.
