BIOPARC AVENIDA PÍO BAROJA, 3

SCIENCE MUSEUM AVDA. LÓPEZ PIÑERO, 7

Do you think you can visit Africa without leaving València? You can if you go to Bioparc, an animal park that recreates four distinct zones of the African continent. Madagascar, Equatorial Africa, the Savannah and the KitumCave. Lemurs, zebras, chimpanzees, elephants, giraffes and hippopotamus are just some of the animals you can see in Bipoarc, because there are more than 4,000 animals from250 species. Best of all is the fact that all these creatures are integrated into the park in line with the immersion zoo concept: without cages and with natural barriers, such as shrubs, plants and tree trunks that create extremely real ecosystems to be enjoyed during your visit. Bioparc also boasts restaurants, children’s play areas, a theatre with events for children and a cinema screening documentary films related to the park’s activities. Don’t miss the daily bird andmammal displays and check feeding times to see elephants, birds, chimpan- zees and gorillas being fed by their keepers. The park organises workshops and activities throughout the year for teaching the youngest members of the family the importance of protecting the environment and species in danger of extinction.

Themagnificently proportioned and organically shaped building is home to dozens of activities and initiatives related to the evolution of life and the dissemination of scientific and technological developments. Interaction is themain feature of this museum, which boasts the slogan: “It is prohibited not to touch, not to feel and not to think”. This is a newmuseum concept allowing you to get involved and experiment with contemporary and future science and technology. 34 902 100 031 MondaytoSunday: from10:00to18:00.(21:00 insummer) Tickets: 8€ Adults, 6 ,20 € Children www.cac.es Discount in 15% FALLAS MUSUEM PL.
