Lesson 11 – Using Macros

Steps

Practice Data

1. Click the Add New Action drop down arrow and choose Submacro from the list. Opens the Submacro block.

Click Submacro

2. Type a name for the macro.

Type Open entry form

The macro name appears in the field.

3. Select the Action list.

Click Action

A list of actions appears.

4. Select the desired action.

Scroll as necessary and click OpenForm Click in the Form Name argument field

The action appears in the field.

5. Select the applicable argument in the Action Arguments pane. The insertion point appears in the appropriate argument field and an arrow appears to the right of the field.

6. Select the Argument list.

Click Form Name

A list of arguments appears.

7. Select the desired argument. The argument appears in the argument field.

Click Customer Sales

8. Continue to add macros to the group macro as desired. The macros appear in the Macro Tools window.

Follow the instructions shown below the table to complete this step

Add the following macro to the group macro:

Display phone list

OpenQuery

Query Name: Contact and Phone

Close and save the macro group as Customer Sales Macros .
