1. Display the Forms object list. The Forms objects appear.

Click Forms

2. Double-click the switchboard form to open it. The switchboard opens. 3. Select an option on the switchboard. The option activates.

Double-click Sample Switchboard

Click Open Customers Form

Notice that a blank form opens. Click the X to close the form. Click the Close and Exit button to close the switchboard.

C REATING A S WITCHBOARD F ORM

Discussion

Before creating the switchboard form, you should have an idea what needs to be included. If you are going to use macros to initiate certain actions, create them before you start creating the switchboard.

Because you do not want the switchboard to look like a typical form, set the properties listed in the following table:

You may also want to size the switchboard form so that it covers the entire screen. To further enhance the switchboard form, you can change the background color and add text and graphics.
