LET’S GO SNOW TUBING – $45 Ride the largest snow-tubing park in West Virginia at Winterplace! Join us for a Saturday afternoon of family fun. The snow-tubing park has 16 lanes, 5 tubing lifts and 600 snow tubes. Sip hot chocolate and take a break in front of the huge natural stone fireplace. The lodge offers a variety of sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs and more. Must be 44” in height to tube. Adult supervision required for ages 9 and under. Meet at Montgomery

MONTGOMERY COUNTY TREETOP ADVENTURE – $65 Ready for an adrenaline kick? Virginia’s newest ropes adventure course is located in the forest canopy at Mountain Lake. Mountain Lake Treetop Adventures is a fun way to get outside, challenge yourself, and experience the exhilaration of climbing through the tree canopy and riding zip lines through the forest.  Sky bridges, swings, rope ladders and zip lines offer a range of challenges that are fun for both the novice, the super adventure seeker and everyone in between! * Regardless of age, participants must weigh at least 40 lbs. and no more than 250 lbs., there are no exceptions. Registration deadline is May 4.

HUNGRY MOTHER ZIP LINE TOUR – $65 Featuring the longest, highest, and fastest zip line in the state of Virginia, your zip trip will be an adventure you’ll never forget. With nearly a mile of lines through five sections, flying over valleys and through the tree tops, this heart pounding excursion will leave you wanting to go again and again! After your aerial adventure enjoy lunch at the famous Hungry Mother State Parks restaurant for soup, salad, sandwiches, and wraps. Lunch will be on your own. Registration deadline is May 29.
