Aloha HVACR NWA Chapter Members,
For the last several years, I have had a vested interest in the initiation of our chapter here in Northwest Arkansas. Until recently, I have been privileged to serve as Secretary/Treasurer for our group. I sent Tom an email a couple of weeks back informing him that I will no longer be able to facilitate my role with the chapter. Life for me has taken a turn west, far west to Hawaii. In the next few days, my wife and I will be traveling to the Big Island to begin planting a network of community-based churches starting in Hilo, HI. Ministry has always been my passion. You see, I believe that each of us are individually designed by God to make a difference in this world. Each of you make a difference in the quality of life that your customers experience every time you install or repair a system or appliance. So, over the next few weeks and months, we will be laying the foundation for Neighborhood Church of Hilo in an effort to effect eternal change in people’s lives. Our mission is to help people find purpose honoring God, to love people to life, and to make a difference by serving in community. If you pray, I sincerely ask for your prayer for my family and I as we depart and engage this journey. I also wanted to let you know that CECC will continue to be involved in this local chapter. Randy McKinney, many of you may have met him at one of our monthly meetings, will be assuming the role of Secretary Treasurer for our chapter. He has already signed to begin managing the bank account for our chapter. He will continue to work alongside Tom Hunt and other chapter officers to provide a resource and voice for the concerns of your industry. You can find his contact information below. I truly wish the best for each of your companies and encourage you to consolidate your voice
Mahalo (Thank you),

By the way it is only 3820 miles from Bentonville to Hilo of which 2,569 miles is ocean. If you are a really good swimmer you might make it—or better yet, the round trip air fare can be as cheap as $870 for coach or the best seat on the wing.
