Lesson 2 – Sending and Receiving Messages

1. Select the Reply button to reply to the message author or the Reply to All button to reply to all message recipients. The RE: Message window opens with the address and subject boxes completed and the insertion point in the message box.

2. Type your reply.

Type They will be ready tomorrow.

The reply appears in the message box.

3. Select the Send button.

The RE: Message window closes and the reply is sent to the recipient(s).

Click Send button

You should receive a message with the subject RE: Worldwide Spring Expo .

NOTE New to Outlook 2013/2016 , If you have the Reading pane open, you can reply or forward inline by clicking in the Reading pane and using the buttons for Reply/Reply to all or Forward as shown below.

F ORWARDING A M ESSAGE  D ISCUSSION

You can forward messages to other recipients directly from the Reading Pane or the Message window. Forwarded messages include all the header information in the original message plus the message body. You can also add your own comments, which appear at the top of the message.
