Lesson 3 – Organizing Messages

When a message is flagged, a color is applied to the flag column in the message pane, making it easier to spot flagged messages. Messages flagged for follow-up display an InfoBar with the text Follow up in the Reading Pane and in the Message window. Messages flagged for follow up also appear in the To-Do Bar .

Follow up Flag Choices

NOTE You can also flag messages from the message list by selecting the Tags group on the Home tab of the Ribbon. Click the Follow Up icon. You can flag an open message by clicking the Follow Up icon in the Tags group on the Message tab.

Procedures

1. To flag a message with the default follow up of Today click the flag in the message header. 2. To flag a message with a different, follow up date, right-click the flag in the message header. 3. Select the desired Follow Up.
