The model D-ADT-A/K acts as a device for drawing off the wire from the coil in a controlled manner, determined by the rolling/drawing machine. A gear motor turns the top rotating frame 180° forwards and backwards in about 30 seconds, in order to guarantee both pay- off turntables’ interchangeable working process.

Its cable taping and spinning lines, complete with pay-off/take-up units and caterpillar/capstan pulling systems, combine the total control of the tension of the wrapping material with the precision of the tape deposition pitch. WTM also offers a complete range of ovens and cooling units, including infrared, molten salt bath and the new hot air vertical ovens. Its high-speed single-twist stranding machines, even with concentric backtwist pay-offs, produce flexible, high- specification data wires and multi-core cables. Visio System is WTM’s in-line inspection and quality control. It elaborates in real-time the frames collected by the high-speed industrial cameras and gives accurate indications about taping pitch, conductor geometry, surface and colour defects, statistical process control indexes and more.

The two turntables are kept apart from each other by means of a divider.

During operation, only the turntable behind the divider is in operation. The other turntable stands still and can be loaded.
