Space saving flexibility Automation specialist Lütze has expanded its Lütze Superflex ® cable family to include single-cable solutions that comply with the new Siemens ® and Indramat ® standards for industrial environments. The new cable solutions with integrated ethernet element are suitable for power supply, data transfer, and for controlling brakes in servo drives. A PUR sheath and sliding wire insulation equip the cables for use with C-tracks in the machine and plant construction sector, or in transport and conveyor equipment. Superflex ethernet hybrid cables can replace several cables, with power supply, brakes and digital feedback via ethernet all bundled into one cable to save space. The

cables are offered with 2.92mm or 1.85mm connectors, and with polarity indicators for matched cable ends. Performance specifications include a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 1.4:1 and delay match as low as 1ps. Cable pair models are 100 percent tested for skew match. “We are excited to expand this impressive line of skew matched pairs. These models deliver extreme flexibility and optimal delay match to reduce measurement errors created by skew,” said Dan Birch, product manager.
