Unforgettable Memories On August 3, our mother, Jane Shattuck, was honored and thrilled to attend the dedication ceremony at the Great Chebeague Tennis Club. We are so grateful to all who could attend on this memorable day. Special thanks to Jill Malony, David Hinchman, and the event committee for your incredible effort in making this happen. Watching our mother so eloquently thank the Chebeague community is a memory not to be forgotten. Thank you so much, Lisa Halpin, Mayo Shattuck, Susan Shattuck, and the entire family A Note From Skip A “big thanks” for the medical care of Doug Ross and Lindy Smith and our excellent Rescue Team and Fire Department. I went out on a “fire call” the night of August 4. Next thing I knew I was at Maine Medical Center with a heart attack! Thanks also for the hospital care by doctors there in the Emergency Department. I am home and feeling good! It really pays to be a firefighter when you need it the most. Thanks to all, Skip Dyer and his family Notices Ladies Aid: Ladies Aid reconvene September 22 at the Parish House. Please join us for crafty projects and camaraderie from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each Thursday. All are welcome! Sew Good: Sew Good meets the fourth Wednesday of the month at the Parish House; our next meeting will be September 28. Drop by for fun projects, or bring a project with you. We have sewing machines available for use.We meet from when we arrive until the last one leaves and turns out the lights.We are a loosely organized group who love to make things, from aprons to quilts to whatever!
